The company began the scheme to overclad 290 properties in November 2013 and completed by September 2014.
As well as significantly improving energy efficiency of the properties in the towns of Kilbirnie, Beith, Dalry, Ardrossan and Irvine, adding insulated render to the exterior of the homes transformed their visual appeal.
The council appointed Marley Contract Services because it is an ISO Quality Assured company that is a PAS2030 Green Deal & ECO Installer.
Marley Contract Services also demonstrated that it has the in-house skills necessary to complete all aspects of the work, ensuring a consistent approach to quality through time-served, experienced professionals who have an understanding of latest site best practice.
Billy Baird, Projects Director at Marley Contract Services, said: "We have extensive experience of working on this type of large refurbishment project. The fact that we have a highly skilled in-house team means that we can ensure the same high quality of workmanship for the duration of the project."
The work being carried out by Marley Contract Services involved mechanically fixing 90mm of rigid foam insulation to the exterior walls of 290 North Ayrshire Council properties, before a rendered finish was applied.
Residents remain in their home during the works and Marley Contract Services has a dedicated point of contact on site to ensure that they are kept fully informed of works being carried out.
A resident in North Ayrshire who was one of the first to benefit from the work, explained: "The refurbishment has made our house look like new. We have already noticed that our home feels warmer and more comfortable. Being able to stay in our home while work was carried out meant that we were not inconvenienced at all."
